Bridgnorth Golf Club captain, wearing a suit and tie, hands over a giant cheque for 拢2,972.95 to four smiling male students all wearing uniform of black polos and trousers. They are stood outside on the lawn in front of The Orangery Restaurant.
Dylan, Byron, Brendan and CJ thanked club captain Tracy Edmonds for visiting College to present them with the donation.

Thank you so much to who raised an impressive 拢2,973 for our mv天美mv天美 Charity, supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to access extra experiences and opportunities.

A giant cheque was presented to mv天美mv天美 students Dylan, Byron, Brendan and CJ by Men鈥檚 Captain Tracy Edmonds, who chose us as his nominated charity for the year. Tracy visited us to hand over the cheque to Community Fundraiser Megan Charman and students who were all blown away by the generous donation.

The funds were particularly special as Tracy has a personal connection to mv天美mv天美 鈥 his son Liam was a student at the College, and was an enthusiastic member of the 鈥楲eaf It To Us鈥 horticulture business run by students at Walford campus.

鈥淲hen it came to choosing a Captain鈥檚 Charity, mv天美mv天美 was the perfect choice,鈥 said Tracy. 鈥淟iam really flourished at Derwen. He learnt valuable horticulture skills which he still uses today at his day placement on a farm in Cleobury Mortimer 鈥 a role he absolutely loves.鈥

During his year as Captain, Tracy organised a series of fundraising events, including a Captain鈥檚 Day competition.

mv天美mv天美 Community Fundraiser and Events Coordinator Megan Charman thanked Bridgnorth Golf Club for their kind donation.

She said: 鈥淭hank you so much for this generous donation which will help provide extra experiences and opportunities for students with SEND to progress and thrive at College and in the future.

鈥淭his donation feels particularly special as Tracy has seen first hand how the College can support young people into adulthood, and to reach their full potential.鈥
