Ru, Steve and Ollie were delighted to win two Cricket Shropshire awards.

mv天美mv天美 celebrated a double victory at the Awards held at Telford, on Friday 7 November.

We were named SEND School of the Year, recognising our outstanding commitment to promoting health, fitness, and inclusion through cricket. Sports and Leisure Co-ordinator Stephen Evans also received the SEND Teacher of the Year award for inspiring students and championing inclusive sport.

Cricket sessions, both indoor and outdoor, are a regular part of enrichment and wellbeing activities at mv天美mv天美. Students develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport. Our partnership with Cricket Shropshire ensures students have access to high-quality coaching and opportunities to participate in matches and community events.

Guests, including students Ru Aylwin and Ollie Walker, enjoyed a celebratory atmosphere as achievements in sport were recognised. Both students, who are on Hospitality & Food pathways, enjoy cricket sessions as part of their enrichment and wellbeing activities. They are also Young Leaders, and have completed qualifications in umpiring as well as coaching and supporting their peers.
